U.S. Army Europe Soldiers train with Bulgarian Land forces

BULGARIA -- Soldiers of the Bulgarian Land Forces show Spc. Steven Young (kneeling) and
Sgt. Jose Juarez of the the 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry learn to hold and
fire a rocket-propelled grenade launcher during combined training at the
Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria, June 15. The 2-28th, part of U.S. Army
Europe's 172nd Infantry Brigade, is in Bulgaria taking part in this year's
Task Force-East theater security cooperation training rotation.

Slovenian Soldiers receive Counter Improvised Explosive Device training at Joint Multinational Readiness Center |
Training continues between U.S. Army Europe, Polish air defense forces |

HOHENFELS--Soldiers from Slovenia recover explosive fragments after a simulated roadside bomb blast 15 June during the first day of a three day counter improvised explosive device training at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center. The instructors of the course are teaching the Slovenians how to properly record and collect evidence at a post blast-site, so it could be sent up to the proper agency for further forensic analysis in hopes of catching the bomb builders. MORAG, Poland -- Polish air
force members and Soldiers from U.S. Army Europe's Alpha Battery, 5th
Battalion, 7th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, conducted missile container
loading training here June 7 as part of a U.S.-Polish Patriot
familiarization program here.
This is the first time a U.S. missile system has come to Poland for
a rotational training program to familiarize Polish forces on the Patriot.
The training is designed to improve Polish air defense capabilities and
develop the skills of U.S. Patriot crew members. For more images of the
