Executive Order 13112

 

The term INVASIVE SPECIES is defined by the Presidential Executive order 13112. Sometimes known as "exotic-invasive" or "alien-invasive" species, these invasive plants and animals cause vast ecological and economic damage, and sometimes human health impacts, in areas they infest and have gained a foothold on public and private lands throughout the nation.
